Welcome to kwerk! Formerly blogging under the title “Paper Wings,” I’ve decided to change things up a bit (which explains why, if you are looking for me on Twitter, you’ll find me as “wingsofpaper”).
Ultimately I made the switch for several reasons. One, being that I wanted to do a pretty big overhaul on how I run my site, switch to WordPress, and eventually get a domain where I have more complete creative control. Two, I needed a name that wouldn’t that generate a laundry list of craft supplies and such when plugging it into a Google search. And finally, that name needed something that would bridge both the writing (blog) and the artwork (paintings and such).
The redesign and rejuvenation should do us all some good. It will continue to develop, even this section will get more refined. Until then, pardon the mess and the process while it all comes together!
